Veluwezoom National Park consists of over 5,100 hectares of forest, sand drifts and country estates. In 1930, it became the Netherlands' first National Park. It is not for nothing that Baron Van Spaen once created this place for intense enjoyment. And we would like to keep it that way. So that this environment is and remains unspoilt. The place where you come to rest and many generations to come.
That's why we care as much for nature as for our guests, and this dedication has now been rewarded! Since 2024, Boutique Hotel Beekhuizen has been certified with Green Key Gold. This means we meet the highest standards within 12 sustainability themes. For instance, we use energy and water sparingly, use environmentally friendly and local materials, and are actively involved in CSR initiatives. In addition, we offer you the option to book a GREEN stay. Here, you choose to forgo the daily cleaning service, which directly contributes to the protection of the Veluwezoom. For every GREEN stay, we make a donation to Natuurmonumenten. It is also possible to offset your CO2 footprint during your stay.
Together with our dedicated Green Team, we have worked hard to achieve this wonderful result. We will continue to make ourselves ever more sustainable and, in doing so, we also want to inspire our guests and suppliers.
