General conditions and house rules of Hotel Beekhuizen Exploitatie B.V. belonging as a supplement to the Uniform Hospitality Industry Conditions (UVH) applicable to Hotel Beekhuizen Exploitatie B.V.
The UVH are the conditions on which hospitality businesses established in the Netherlands, such as hotels, restaurants, pubs and related businesses (such as catering companies and party service companies) can provide their services and conclude agreements. By signing an agreement with Hotel Beekhuizen Exploitatie B.V., the client declares to have received and agree to a copy of the UVH and the additional terms and conditions of Hotel Beekhuizen Exploitatie B.V. (hereinafter referred to as 'the hotel').
Cancellation policy
The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) apply to all reservations. As an exception, individual bookings can be cancelled up to one week before arrival. A voucher will be issued for the fully paid amount at this time (except for non-refundable reservations). In case of no-show, the full booking amount will be charged.
Different cancellation conditions apply to group bookings, which are stated in the correspondence and/or booking confirmation.
If you wish to cancel, please contact the hotel directly. A cancellation can only be requested by e-mail and is only valid with an e-mail confirmation from the hotel.
Additional conditions and house rules
Making a reservation is only permitted for individuals who have reached the age of 18.
Instructions from hotel staff must be followed at all times.
The entire hotel, consisting of rooms, facilities and grounds, is non-smoking. If we find that people are still smoking, we are obliged to charge for this. If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room, we will charge the fire brigade's call-out fee.
Wood or electric barbecues and open fires are not allowed on the hotel grounds.
The hotel is pet-free with the exception of rooms suitable for pets at an additional charge. Pets must be notified in advance due to limited availability. Permission from the hotel must be given in writing.
Unregistered persons are not allowed to stay in the room. Visitors are allowed only with prior approval from the hotel management.
It is not allowed to use the hotel room or hotel grounds for commercial purposes, such as taking professional images (including photographs and videos), unless with prior written approval from the management.
When using the hotel's wireless internet (WiFi), it is not allowed to visit websites prohibited by law. It is also not allowed to share images contrary to morals on which the hotel is recognisable as a location.
It is not allowed to decorate the room with confetti or with decorations attached to the walls, ceiling or floor. It is also not allowed to use your own (scented) candles or scented sticks.
Between 23.00-08.00 it should be quiet in and around the hotel. This is due to other guests and the presence of wildlife.
After sunset and before sunrise, it is not allowed to enter the forests without official permission. When entering the surrounding forests, you should only stay on roads and paths and not damage trees or plants.
Camera surveillance is in place in and around the hotel to ensure security. Anyone who is in the hotel consents to recordings being made. In case of calamities and/or incidents, these recordings can be shown to the authorities as supporting material.
The hotel has the right to take photographs and videos in and around the hotel for marketing purposes (including publication and/or display on the internet). Anyone who is in the hotel consents to the making of recordings and publication, even if he/she is (partially) recognisable in them.
Valid identification may be requested upon check-in at the hotel. Check-in time is between 15:00-18:00, and check-out time is until 11:00, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
Parking and use of the bicycle parking is free and at your own risk. Fees may be charged for electric charging. Charging (of batteries) of electric bicycles is only allowed in the bicycle shed.
All cases not accounted for in the general and additional conditions and/or house rules, the hotel management will decide.
